Let’s discover the rural environment and the biodiversity hidden in a vineyard nestled in the Collserola forest!

Grades: upper elementary school (3rd to 6th grade).

Groups: between 15 and 50 students.

Calendar: from setember to june.

Learning objectives:

  1. Analyze the characteristics of different elements or systems within the natural environment.
  2. Recognize cultural and natural heritage to promote its responsible use, conservation, and improvement.
  3. Ask questions about the world by applying scientific methods and thinking.
  4. Interpret, respond to, and predict phenomena in the natural, social, and cultural environment.

Dynamics:

In this hands-on activity, students will work in small groups to explore the flora and fauna found in the vineyard. They will also learn to identify and track animal traces, a task that will help them uncover the secrets hidden in a crop located in the middle of a forest.
