Let’s discover the rural environment and the biodiversity hidden in a vineyard nestled in the Collserola forest!
Grades: upper elementary school (3rd to 6th grade).
Groups: between 15 and 50 students.
Calendar: from setember to june.
Learning objectives:
- Analyze the characteristics of different elements or systems within the natural environment.
- Recognize cultural and natural heritage to promote its responsible use, conservation, and improvement.
- Ask questions about the world by applying scientific methods and thinking.
- Interpret, respond to, and predict phenomena in the natural, social, and cultural environment.
Dynamics:
In this hands-on activity, students will work in small groups to explore the flora and fauna found in the vineyard. They will also learn to identify and track animal traces, a task that will help them uncover the secrets hidden in a crop located in the middle of a forest.
